Product Overview

The Thermal Grizzly Intel Mycro Direct-Die Pro RGB is a water block built for the Intel LGA1700 platform, with a nickel-plated copper base plate and addressable RGB lighting. It sits directly on the die of a delidded Intel CPU. Compared with the standard Mycro Direct-Die, the Pro version has more cooling fins and a lower flow resistance.

This block is for custom water-cooling loops on Intel 12th, 13th and 14th Gen CPUs where the heat spreader has been removed. It connects to the loop through two female G 1/4″ fittings, and the lighting plugs into a 3-pin addressable RGB header. The body combines aluminium, acrylic and nickel-plated copper in a black and transparent finish. Mounting screws and two hex keys are included. Note that removing the heat spreader is a mechanical modification of the CPU and voids the return right, the manufacturer’s warranty and the statutory guarantee.
