The Joy-IT Aluminium Case for Raspberry Pi 5 is a black aluminium enclosure built specifically for the Raspberry Pi 5, with an integrated 40 mm fan and a heatsink included in the box. The vented top panel and fan keep the board cool, with Joy-IT quoting around 48 °C at idle and around 65 °C under full load.

This case suits anyone running a Raspberry Pi 5 who wants a sturdy metal housing instead of a plastic shell. Assembly takes only a few steps, and all ports stay easy to reach, including the SD card slot and the GPIO header. A side opening lets you route GPIO cables straight out of the case. It measures 60 x 30 x 98 mm and weighs 103 g, so it stays compact on a desk or shelf. Screws, the fan and the heatsink are supplied.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. The computer came very well packed however, the cooler fan was loose inside the case. I managed to fix watching some youtube videos, not a big deal. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock.
