2022 is going to be an exciting year for gamers around the world, with many promising releases heading our way in the upcoming year. PC gamers are going to be especially spoiled, with a couple of previous console exclusives also coming to Windows 10.

3. Monster Hunter Rise

After almost a year of being exclusively available on Nintendo Switch, Monster Hunter Rise will be coming to PCs on January 12, 2022. Like Monster Hunter: World, Rise makes use of an open-world map, instead of zoned areas as in earlier Monster Hunters. The game features both single and multiplayer (local and online), as well as a new survival mode.

2. Total War: Warhammer III

If you’ve loved the previous two installments of Total War: Warhammer, you’re probably also going to love the third one. Not much is still known about the Total War: Warhammer III, apart from its release date on February 17, 2022. Some of the known factions will be Kislev and Grand Cathay, as well as four factions based on the Chaos Gods. If you pre-purchase the game or buy it within the first week after release, you’ll also get access to the Ogre Kingdoms factions.

1. Elden Ring

Elden Ring is one of the biggest releases of the upcoming year, available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, as well as older generation’s PS4 and Xbox One. Elden Ring is another souls-like game developed by FromSoftware, releasing on February 25, 2022. The game features worldbuilding by the famous George R. R. Martin, the creator of A Song of Ice and Fire.
